British pianist Ivana Gavrić has attracted praise for her interpretations of Janacek, Liszt, Schubert, and Grieg. Her debut disc In the mists won BBC Music Magazine’s Newcomer of the Year award in 2011, and in April 2017 she released her fourth album Chopin on Edition Records, which was Classic FM’s CD of the week.

Gavrić has performed with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, the Trondheim Soloists and Aurora Orchestra, and on many major concert platforms including Wigmore Hall, the Barbican, Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, KKL Lucerne, Gilmore Festival Rising Star Series, as well as across China, Canada and Japan.

Ivana Gavrić’s new recording with Southbank Sinfonia and Karin Henrickson is out on Rubicon Classics in September 2019 and includes music by Cheryl Frances-Hoad and Haydn as well as Bosnian traditional music.
