Alexander Ullman

Praised for his subtle interpretations, Alexander Ullman first came to international attention in 2011 after winning the Franz Liszt International Piano Competition in Budapest. Since then, he has gone on to perform with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Netherlands Radio Philharmonic among others, and has given recitals at Wigmore Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Concertgebouw, Gewandhaus and Kennedy Center.

Ullman’s 2018/19 season sees his debut with the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra, Beijing’s NCPA Orchestra and the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra, as well as recitals at Stadthalle Bayreuth, Liszt Academy Budapest and Seoul Arts Center. Chamber music projects include a tour with violinist Barnabas Kelemen and his debut at the Montreal Chamber Music Festival.

Alexander Ullman will release his first album in Spring 2019 on Rubicon Classics. The recording will feature Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite, Prokofiev’s Six Pieces from Cinderella, as well as Stravinsky’s Petrushka and Firebird suites
